Things are really simple and any opposition to this government by parties with Parliamentary seats [SYRIZA (United Left Forces), ANEL (Independent Greeks), KKE (Communist Party of Greece), XA (Golden Dawn), DIMAR (Independent Democratic Left)] or without, from EPAM (United Popular Front) to SPITHA (Spark) or however else they might be named and feel or have declared they have the ability to lead this country, donning the outdated suit of the ʽparty leaderʼ, will be judged in deed not in words.
If you all really want to stop this government or force them to officially declare the suspension of the Constitution, which they de facto have enforced already or are enforcing on a daily basis (so that we can trigger international developments following such an official suspension of a generally Democratic Constitution), and given that you have access to the means to do this (legal departments/consultants, ability to finance your mass media image, access to parliamentary institutions), you can readily stop the government TOMORROW, THIS EVENING, WITHIN THE HOUR. That is, whenever you want.
You must simply do the following:
1. Since no Referendum took place despite the fact that more than 120 MPs signed for it, nor any discussion about the Referendum, what you have in your hands is nothing else but a parliamentary coup which you must formally complain about through a series of legal acts:
A. Within 60 days from the publication of the law pertaining to the Small DEI (down-sized Public Power Company) you can appeal it before the Supreme Court asking for injunctive measures until an official decision has been reached. After a possible rejection of the appeal, you can still appeal it at the International Court of Appeals.
B. Inform the People who are those benefitting from the down-sizing of DEI and in serving and protecting Public Interest, proceed to block any process of sale or transfer of the small-sized DEI and any attempt of the government to activate the law they voted for.
C. Within the framework of transparency and the Right of the Citizens to Know, publish all the income statements of the actual persons involved as well as those of their families who will be involved in the sale of the small-sized DEI.
D. Do the same for every member of the parliament who voted for the law to down-size and sell a great part of DEI, or for those who support such move.
2. Since you are actually putting forth a formal complaint about a parliamentary coup, all of you who have seats in this Parliament ought IN DEED AND NOT ONLY IN WORDS FIGHT AGAINST IT BY ALL MEANS AVAILABLE TO YOU: just as you did well to leave the room during the First Parliamentary Summer session to prevent legitimation of the whole process, YOU OUGHT TO REFRAIN FROM LEGITIMISING THE WHOLE GOVERNMENT AND ALL OF YOU WHO ASKED FOR A REFERENDUM (regardless of the disagreements in your actual proposals) RESIGN YOUR SEATS AND BLOCK THE GOVERNMENT FROM RESUMING WORK WITHOUT ELECTIONS TO SECURE REPRESENTATIOON OF MORE THAN 140 DEPUTIES, something that will suspend the function of the parliament and disable the government from using the parliament as a front, forcing the government either to rule dictatorially or go to elections, which is what the People want and continually press for.
Any attempt to publish the law in the form of a parliamentary act of legislative content, should be appealed to the Supreme Court.
The government must be officially and internationally stigmatised for its de facto annulment of the State of Justice and downfall of a Democratic Regime as well as for its use of the institutions as a criminal gang or organisation.
I am not asking you to do the really hard stuff, which is to demand that all the complaints filed by Citizens against governmental acts actually go to trial, or to support all the complaints registered at the International Criminal Court, the Hague, something you should have already done as official opposition.
I am not asking you to do the…ʼhardʼ thing, which is to officially object the President of the Democracy Papoulias, blindly signing everything put before him, even when there are official reports by the Supreme Audit Committee and the State Legislative Committee advising him not to and press him to send it back to the Parliament unsigned, in an attempt to do justice to the millions we have been paying him, and which he simply pockets illegally since he does not act his role or uphold his Oath, but simply resembles a living but soulless automaton that signs and stamps the governmental seal without looking or seeing the paper it lands on.
I am simply challenging you, those of you still with government seats, to use your fat state subsidies, and salaries on legal acts no Citizen can ever hope to pay for due to his or her penury, and I challenge you to show your balls even at this last chance and cause elections simply to avert the fascist destructive force you are so much complaining about.
Finally, for all those aspiring politicians who already ran for office and demand financial support from your members, just like every other political party, I challenge you to use these moneys to set up legal shields that we, the simple and unaffiliated Citizens, cannot possibly have, in order to defend ourselves.
If you simply ignore the above (just as Karamanlis did in 2008, GAP in 2009 and Papoulias plus all of their cronies) you will simply prove to us once more that you are simply playing with our pain, our death and the survival chances of the Citizens of your own Country, just to upkeep your own little games and private bids to power that bode no good for the grand total of the citizenry but will benefit only the pressure groups of the power lovers.
Besides, no one can claim that you lack legitimation. On the contrary, you will be completely non-legitimised in case you simply ignore the obligation stipulated by the 120 Article of the Constitution that obligates you to reinstate legality at any cost and every means at your disposal when the powers of the Constitution are suspended de jure or de facto: this is precisely what you have been castigating the government for so far, unfortunately only in words, not in action.
If you prove to us once more that you are nothing but fat words, you will also have proven your collaboration with the government, selling hope to a largely peace-loving People who still hopes that you will settle this peacefully and do not force this People to do it for you, violently, as is typically the case.
