A sudden terrorist attack took place in India where multiple execution-deaths occurred and of which the reasons and the perpetrators remain a question mark in every calmly thinking Human. The conditions, the nature of the victims and the way of their selection can give insights regarding the socio-political condition of the world and possibly the reasons for this incident.
To analyze the importance of this incident for India itself we would need to have adequate knowledge not only of the financial but also of the social (including religious) situation for the last five years at least. Since the mass media in Greece have never occupied themselves with relaying socio-political developments of other countries before their escalation to violent incidents, we will not go on to analyze the events on this level but on the international and global one, part of which is India.
The fact that from the victims the losses of internationals are projected (i.e. Citizents of other countries and in particular from countries of Europe and America) much more than any victims who are indigenous Indian Citizens implies that the matter is of international importance or is made into being so. Also, the victims are reported to belong for the most part to the upper and plutocratic classes, being of nationalities of which the states had gone into colonialism.
Especially in the case of Britain, which had great colonies and interests in India which it had to compromise with the effect of Gandhi and Nehru family, the statement of the Foreign Office suggests that the particular terrorist attack could be used as a lever of reinstatement of one of the most obvious influence of British power in India after almost half a century.
In particular, although the terrorists seem to have made British and American Citizens their target (since all those who showed a british passport were shot on sight, according to the testimonials broadcasted by the mass media) the Foreign Office didn’t call for evacuation procedures for British Nationals or carriers of British passports but instead ordered them to “remain within their homes until further notice”. The only thing the Foreign Office added was a warning and a characterization of India as a state which contains “a high level of terrorist threat” and actually “continuously” (i.e. a terrorist threat lasting for a long period of time and not just a chance event). In the same time, the White House in the USA expressed its readiness to “give aid to Indian authorities … for the security of our [American] Citizens”.
The above is a very serious precedent and means of foreign powers such as Britain and the USA for access to other countries and their internal affairs, since even the motive and the identity of the ‘terrorists’ who arrived from the depths of the sea in plastic speedboats and military equipment and organization remain unknown. The fact also that they have been reported as dead in the areas put under control of Indian authorities the situation creates questions and makes it impossible to cross check and verify the identity, the motive and any other vital information we could have had were they kept alive.
Similar such ‘sudden’ incidents always were completed with the criminal terrorists dead and the procuring of the excuse/ justification needed to be presented to the People locally and internationally for the enforcement of the new, totalitarian/ dictatorial order. (e.g. September 11)
