It is known that the Greeks have ʽfilotimoʼ (= the need to rise up to ethic standards) and in particular areas rectitude. That is, they are an easy target to convince or motivate, when normally it would have been impossible to invoke a particular behavior, in the form of an insult-challenge, to act in ways that cancel out abrasive characterizations or actions against them. This is a rare attribute on the level of culture traits, and that is why very few languages have a direct synonym in their vocabulary for the Greek word ʽfilotimoʼ or ʽtsipaʼ (ethic decency). What, then, is attempted by the propaganda supporting the government these days and why?

In an ultimate effort to convince the Greeks to accept the irrational policies of economic strategy which are characterized by inhumanity and unilateral abuse, no logical argument is used any longer (since they have all been shot down and the People are not convinced) but instead they resort to emotional blackmail and the exploitation of the spontaneous reaction of the Greeks to protect and defend anything bearing the characterization ʽGreek/Hellenicʼ, even if that would be harmful because, and rightly so, the Greeks do not tolerate insults by foreigners.

But what we should be able to see as Greeks is that instead of succumbing to the blackmail as it was unleashed from the main news report in Mega Channel with Olga Tremi yesterday, by the words of P. Tsimas and G. Pretenteris, we can use it to carry out the sorting we need within our house while in the same time demand and achieve satisfaction for the insults via which they are attempting to force us to accept the policy for which the Karamanlis government fell (among other things).

The reason for this particular unprogrammed article lies in the conversation of the panel between P. Tsimas and G. Pretenteris, being coordinated by O. Tremi, where the following was quoted: “…in the show in Mega Channel (by Tsimas) ʽinquiryʼ last year, Giannos Papantoniou told me on camera that in 1993-4 as minister of financial affairs, when he went for the first time to represent the A.Papandreou government in Ecofin and he took the floor, his German counterpart took off his earphones and said loud enough to be heard by all ʽI am not willing to listen to a single word from the pigs from Greeceʼ… and Giannis Stournaras, chairman of the council of financial experts told me that when he went out from the first adjournment he had listened to so many swear words (they were not only aggressive but also abrasive) that he returned to his hotel room and sobbed, although he was a grown man, from the pressure… the threat was that Greece would be referred to the janizaries of the IMF…

What is being communicated?

Quite directly, through the introduction by G. Pretenteris where he mentioned multiple times that the insult was not against any one government (New Democracy or PASOK) but against Greece and theGreeks, and the level of ʽcompromiseʼ of Greece and the Greeks to the Europeans, as well as through the aforementioned description of the verbal attack by Germans and others against the Greek representative/ minister, it is being communicated to us that the ones who are unreliable, thieves, con artists and scumbags are the Greeks in general, i.e. the People, AND NOT THE POLITICIANS. That is, they are transferring the shame of the thievery, betrayal and cheating the Hellenic People are suffering from by the big capital holders and their servant-politicians and servant-reporters, to the Hellenic People themselves. Nowhere was mentioned the fact that no government has ever heeded the Hellenic People when they oppose their policies (legally, through demonstrations, through official inquiries, etc), because of which, according to the reporters, the name of Greece is being reviled.

Also, neither P. Tsimas nor G. Pretenteris nor O. Tremi ever mentioned in the least any comment on the quality, character and stance of the German or any other party engaging in this shameful and legally and diplomatically highly risky for their countries behavior as something wrong or out of line, essentially and indirectly communicating to us that these foreigner representatives and ministers were right to behave as they did.

What can we essentially understand should have been done and what opportunities were lost not only in 1993-4 but are being lost now as well?

Primarily, the behavior alone of those foreigner representatives/ ministers constitutes an insult against an official state and the sum of its Nationʼs members, and therefore legal and diplomatic consequence against the countries represented by those unleashing insult is required: that is, to avoid a diplomatic incident because of insult of the country through the use of profanity against her, each country that sent such an unacceptable and crass representative should compensate Greece monetarily as well as internationally apologize, though not only the offending representative/minister but also the leader of each of those countries.

This behavior/ reaction of the Greek representatives/ ministers, who not only did not respond to this offense (always according to the reportersʼ stories) but also dragged themselves, hat-in-hand and head bent, to cry like little girls in their rooms, demonstrated that they do not have Greek filotimo nor Greek spine nor Greek intelligence to manage to use the weakness of their adversaries for the interests of Greece. Adversaries who either because of complexes (especially the Germans, who obsessively are trying to impose themselves as superhuman since 1930 at least, but throughout the 20th Century until today they are the underlings and dependents of the Americans and their allies based on shaming treaties and compromises after their consecutive losses in consecutive wars) against us (we never displayed such complexes nor such consecutive war humiliations, and again especially regarding the Germans we forced them to try even now to rationalize the loss of time, money and resources in their campaign against Greece) either because of lack of argumentation or because of lack of civilization and intelligence resorted to such a debased and immature level of communication.

The accessories of the condition of unreliability of financial data must be persecuted for treason since their action defamed Greece, so long as they bear Hellenic citizenship, and be sued with the heaviest of charges internationally so long as they do not bear Hellenic citizenship, since it is clear that a good part of the current projected condition of the financial data as well as the economy is due to foreigners as well to whom it was allowed to handle or affect part or the sum of the variables that led to this condition.

Since the Europeans want to discuss issues of reliability and the capacity to trust economic data and predictions, the true Greek representative or minister, instead of going to cry in a corner, after leaving the adjournment in order to cause a diplomatic incident as he should have done, would file an official annotated inquiry, asking those responsible for the creation of the Eurozone and all the other representatives to answer for the following issues:

1. on the unreliability of the predictions regarding the economic affluence they had guaranteed with the installation of the Euro as currency

2. on the augmentation of the deficits, poverty and unemployment in all the countries due to their efforts to conform to assorted common requirements completely irrelevant to the financial reality of each country

3. on the destitution of the wealth-producing capacity of the Greek economy (and more) through EU requirements/ orders so that there is no capacity for balanced agricultural production, pushing Greece to rely only in the exhausting tax collection and loan-taking, all on the guarantee of Europe that we are heading to a financial heaven

4. the lack of protection of the job placements of the Greeks either due to staggering illegal migration or due to the charging of works to foreigners, based on EU demands or EU lack of protection of the European borders where they coincide with the Greek ones

5. the overprotection of banks and the great capital based on EU decisions/ demands at the expense of the People whom they have promised to protect, at least financially.

The guarantees of the EU and all its offshoots or cooperating organizations have been given many times and much more often (actually always) have been broken by those issuing the guarantees themselves, shamelessly and brazenly. Each one of the points we mentioned needs demands for economic satisfaction / reimbursement of Greece, who relied on the attestations of Europe and was harmed and is being harmed constantly by Europeʼs unreliability.

If he had Greek filotimo or Greek pride or Greek business instinct, the representative or the minister or the government, instead of traitorously supporting the defamation of Greece, he would easily not only achieve the respect and fear of his foreigner ʽcolleaguesʼ but also he would get whatever he is now shamefully begging to get in form of loans (in essence liquidating the country which belongs to the People and not the government or any administrator) in the form of reimbursement with interest.

Especially in the case of the Germans, they should be reminded of their utterly shameful, despicable unreliability when, without a trace of National integrity and responsibility they hid behind their bosses (allies- USA) and refused to pay to Greece the huge war compensations and compensations for extended war crimes and genocides against the Greeks, compensations that in essence are still pending and must be paid if these cases are taken up by a real Greek.

Objectively, therefore, the pigs are not Greeks but, just when the Greeks were called that way as they were being tortured and executed by the Nazis during the German Occupation, those who can think of and characterize Humans in such manners are the ones who cannot be counted among the members of the Human species.

Also objectively, the ʽvow and protestʼ of Papakonstantinou (the Greek minister of financial affairs), when we was addressing not the right recipients but instead the Greeks for internal consumption purposes, regarding ʽwhat he felt and enduredʼ is a hypocrisy through which he will be able to hire and fire whomever he wishes (of course with proper compensation in the lines of the Papandreou tradition of ʽa little monetary present for themselvesʼ). If he truly was not part of this whole charade he partook in with his European colleagues along with every untrustworthy petty bank manager they have installed for the purpose (e.g. Garganas, Provopoulos, etc) and if he wanted to play the defender of Greece or the untouchable (in the lines of Giorgos Thalassis* or an American during Prohibition), he would at least do some of the things we mentioned even superficially, instead of returning to tell the Hellenic People that they have been internationally shamed and to ʽatoneʼ they must put up with pogroms of mass illegal firings and hard measures. Of course in the same time he is refuting the pre-election motto of ʽtogether we marchʼ as it being directed to the sum of the Hellenes regardless political party affiliation, since along with these mass firings there are also mass hirings taking place, thus efficiently replacing the blue (=right wing) party followers with green ones (=left wing), as is the tradition.

The fact that this communications propaganda is projected in its strongest form by the channel exploited by the Lambrakis group, to the point that they tag as pro-left the policy of mass firings along with the policy of mass hirings of people of uncertain qualifications, suggests that the policy of change of the work status of Stage employment, confining it only to the private and not the public sector, is very much to the interest of the great capital. It is also (obviously) the first measure of evolving the policy of New Democracy to the interest of the nearly free work under the great capital, i.e. of helotry, which is a work status that is forbidden by the Constitution and the Bill of Human Rights.

Regarding the ʽindependenceʼ of the Statistics Service, the Hellenic People are well aware from their experience with the ʽindependenceʼ of the Justice System, of the scope of unreliability and conspiracy that is being attempted in order to impose dictatorially harsh measures on the basis of data procured by this ʽindependentʼ Statistics Service, one that nobody will have the right to check on or blame or call to answer even when the results presented will be grossly falsified/ false.

We can see here, therefore, as we will analyze in future articles, how new ways are created to subjugate the People and give rise to the totalitarianism of the Dictatorship of each fabricated strong government towards the abolition of not only the Constitution but also the sum of the Human Rights of the Greeks by traitors who are seeking manners to achieve the very thing for which the Karamanlis government fell.
