After the expected fiasco of the Karamanlis move for reshuffling, in hopes of gaining time without changing or doing any change of course whatsoever, a new move, convulsive but fully conscious reveals to us (certainly unintentionally) his real intentions for whatever time remains for him to steal on the wheel he never won ( since the People simply showed their rejection of the other political side and not their approval of the New Democracy political party, and still in part since we have continually proven that the election results do not represent Popular will any longer).
It is obvious that the People were not satisfied by just the removal of George Alogoskoufis from the ministry of finances, since his impunity is a clear fact as well as that his policy is now cemented as he drew it with the orders and support of the prime minister K. Karamanlis, nor are the People satisfied with the positioning in the post of Giannis Papathanasiou, who simply demonstrates the determination of the prime minister to continue more earnestly in the exact same policy: Just as G. Alogoskoufis has been and is linked to people of the junta who drew out and designed the junta financial policy, so has G. Papathanasiou demonstrate the exact same stance and even more blatant course of sacking the fortune and wealth of the state and the People since he has served, aside from president and general secretary of the Board of Industrialists, as a consultant in energy issues (of which we have experience of the horrible management, abuse and embezzlement of the public wealth and resources) but also as vice president of the board of directors in the Public Gas Enterprise and, until 2002 unconstitutionally was into trading of goods directly relevant to the posts he was holding.
That means that in this position the prime minister continues to put people who have proven their criminality regarding the public interest and the interest of the Citizens as well as their action for the great capital holders.
Also, for a greater effectiveness of the plan he had ordered G. Alogoskoufis to apply, and which the People have decried and rejected systematically for the past two years, K. Karamanlis announces that he is taking up personal activity into it as well as recruiting two more agents who have provably represented the industrialists, the great public work undertakers and fund receivers as well as the private bankers in the faces of G. Souflias, K. Hatzidakis and G. Provopoulos.
A simple overview of the C.V.s of these individuals, which illegally/ atypically are not readily available in full details and not summary references of some of the points of their professional career and financial situation, will show that always the ones who were benefiting from the actions of these individuals and the interests they protected were the directly above (e.g. the big and ‘illustrious’ career of G. Provopoulos in the biggest and most monopolistic private banks in Greece and the continuous and arbitrary in quality but certain in funding procuring of public works that are not of vital importance for the Greek citizens while they could have been, but are instead highly important for the great public work undertaking companies which do not even contribute in the creation of new job openings, since their staff of menial workers is comprised of illegal immigrants/ immigrants and not Greeks).
In a following article we will analyze the assorted policies that will be announced further as well as each individual the prime minister picked one by one, including himself.
On first scrutiny though, that which we can see based on these very superficial profiles is what the prime minister believes and is messaging to us:
1. he considers the Greek People as unintelligent and incapable of understanding that changing a person with another same or worse one is not a positive step.
2. he considers himself as either cleverer or higher up than the Greek People so that the People will not either think or dare include him in the general decry which has already began including him.
3. he considers that the People believes that he himself is a guarantee for the ‘all’s well’ which systematically proves that he is undermining and is not in the position nor has a motive or values to preserve (since from the days of the ‘three Nos’ he has been lying systematically with documentation in TV channels, documents and all sorts of multimedia).
4. because the People have showed that they do not tolerate the particular government, reshuffled or not, he has recruited cooperators so that he will pick up the pace and carry out faster that which he has promised to his superiors (see the content analysis of his speech to the productive classes in September 2008 in the ITF in Thessaloniki) who have demanded the financial policy we have been experiencing within and outside of Greece and who have been flourishing and increasing thanks to it to the point that with this loot they can present themselves as humanitarians, protectors, national benefactors and philanthropists (see bank owners, industrialists/ ship owners/ great capital traders, owners of huge corporations of international scope and mass media owners as well as those of all sorts of non-profit organizations).
