As we had announced, today Friday 9th of August 2013 we are offering you the first but quite inclusive presentation of the legal framework that is active both within and without Greece regarding the securing of the Insurance Rights of the Greeks.

In this particular sector, the state administration and the government have historically abstained from informing us the corpus of our Rights, not in the least resembling the speed with which they are enforcing on us our so-called ʽobligationsʼ, which of course are terribly exceeding any sense of true obligation, support, contribution, etc more or less extreme, depending on the public fund itself.

We direct you therefore to the following facts, which no one has ever informed us about, starting with at least the additional demands for German reparations, over and above those already known, from looting and embezzlements by the Nazis but also because of the culpability of the politicians and dictators of Greece, including the dictatorship of August 4th, 1936:

The Insurance Funds were set up only on capital from the Citizens (Employees and Employers alike) during the interwar period WITHOUT ANY SUPPORT WHATSOEVER BY THE STATE APPARATUS OR ANY OTHER STATE SUBSIDY.

The dictatorship of August 4th, siphoned off 800,000,000 drachma from the IKA reserves which it never returned.

The greatest part of this capital was devalued due to the destructive devaluation during the occupation and which was enforced by the Nazi Germany.

The remnant of this capital was further devalued by the devaluation drift of the new drachma during the first years of liberation, while no state subsidy was given under the Reconstruction Scheme to the destroyed Social Insurance Fund, which was refunded again be means of the dues paid to by insured employees and their employers, at least during the first consecutive years of the post-war era, and which saw the mass migration of Greeks to Germany mainly but also to other destinations.

Yet all that were permitted to happen in blatant disregard of the Philadelphia Declaration which was signed also by Greece by means of L.D. 399/1947:

According to this Declaration, TO UPHOLD THE PEACE AND PROSPERITY AND PREVENT SOCIAL UNREST, THE STATE IS OBLIGED TO PROVIDE REGARDLESS OF WHATEVER POLITICAL OR ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCE, FULL AND VIABLE SOCIAL INSURANCE THAT COVERS MEDICAL AND JOBLESSNESS PROVISION PRIMARILY.

Supreme overseer of this Declaration is the International Work Office, which is funded by the State members, one of which is Greece, that is, by us, the Citizens. Read its Constitution here.

With all the above in mind, we have prepared the following Extrajudicial Appeal intended for the national but mainly for the International Law, which has been drafted as a form template so that you may add to it your personal details and your own Insurance Fund.

As you shall see, with the present extrajudicial appeal, you declare WITHHOLDING OF PAYMENT OF DUES TO YOUR INSURANCE FUND up until they provide you with a full account and access to your own capital amassed so for, regardless of whether you are insured or a pensioner. Particularly the pensioners should be aware of the fact that the State owes retroactively all the reserves taken from your Funds from which it is obliged to pay your pensions to the full (adjusted for the current cost of living and decent way of life as a form of repayment of your invested capital) and not reduced.

If you are not yet ready to proceed with the Withholding of Payment of Dues, you can simply demand all the rest that the extrajudicial appeal demands and send it to them registered, after removing the phrase from the end of the document ʽto be served by the pertinent bailiffʼ.

As soon as we send ours, we shall inform you about the rest of the necessary steps.

We also call upon every union to support this effort in deed and not just in well-wishing and force this government into returning the stolen capital back into the Funds and fulfil our real need for true and effective insurance policies and proper dues instead of this mafia-like imposed tax so that one can claim his/her legal Right to Work, paid to this caste that controls the market.
