When the Trojan Horse was left as a gift to the Trojans (not even as a product of business transaction / contract) and they accepted it with jubilant hymns, and indeed as a symbol that their 10-year siege ordeal would be over and that they, at long last, could start over again with their process of ‘reshaping and development’ of their city-state. As and we all know very well, this little present, burnt their city, razed their population and extinguished them as a people reducing every survivor to slave status.
The Trojans, in comparison to our present situation, acted under the accentuating circumstances that this little present was offered free of contractual agreements, interest rates and austerity measures – no matter how imbecilic it was of them to pull the offering into their city: (When the army laying siege on your city suddenly decide to depart and leave you with a thank you present for you to have and boast victory on them, you should at least have ‘taken wind’ of the fact that such an act is suspect, and have made sure that there were no unpleasant surprises hidden inside).
We, on October 2009, made a blunder equal to that of the Trojans who relaxed because the siege laid by the economic assault of the crypto-nazists seemed to be failing in the face of K. Karamanlis and G. Papandreou transformed his pre-election pseudo-promises into a current Trojan Horse.
Now, after the first jubilant feasts and joy, here opens the secret door of PASOK’s Trojan Horse and out of its belly pour forth the hidden foes, who burn, raze and enslave.
But if there were no traitors and collaborators from the inside, those hidden foes could have also been intercepted. The reason why they still roam about is because the goabbelist propaganda for fascism (or of dictatorship, or superpowers, or one-way street mythology, or liberalism or development or however else totalitarianism could be named donning a modern or traditional garb) has unleashed all of its powers to convince the People that the absurd is correct and legal.
1. We are under a dictatorship. This becomes even more evident with every attempt to impose a ‘decide and rule’ order that a government, elect on false pretenses, since this government has long ago lost all legitimacy (their Popular Consent) due to its knowingly getting elected on a false platform.
2. We have a case of classic treason. Apart from conceding defeat, in economic terms, via the IMF (i.e., unconditional submission to speculators) we also have ceding of rights of ownership and control in other sectors (e.g., the Aegean, oil reserves, resources, etc), that in fact jeopardizes the integrity of our borders, without a single shot being fired. (Indeed, do we all remember G.Papandreou’s statement that he would rather cede some territory ‘to keep his peace’?)
3. We have modern treason. In an article in a well-known economic daily, the Ministry of Finances declared its intent and agenda to sell out territorial rights, mineral resources and whatever else Greece possesses that is sellable to third parties (see B.S. Kannelis, “Auctioning State Property to Pay Off Debts”, ‘Imerisia On Line, 1/5/2010).
4. With the heinous crime of our three adult compatriots and of one yet unborn, we have the proof that there is not going to be any restriction on how bloody they are prepared to make any provocation, to deter or delay the consequences of Popular reaction (and when I refer to ‘Popular’ reaction I am not at all siding with the term used by KKE (Communist Party of Greece, or SYRIZA, (Confederation of Radical Left) but by the commonsensical default term of referring to all those who are not of the class of bankers, of privileged offspring, heirs of traditional powerful families whom seem to be above the Law that hits everybody else, and who dwell beyond the reach of such Law when it comes to paying for consequences of criminal acts).
We should realize the fact that things speak for themselves when we stop fearing them and see them for what they are and stop adhering to stereotypes. No matter how much they pervert the truth, it is clear that we going full-steam towards a totalitarian regime, which will be officially imposed, and which will not simply be corrupt, as it is now. The People will not tolerate for long all this charade with selective use of Constitutional interpretations, whenever that seems to suit he ongoing propaganda (because as such the Constitution is called upon but is never applied).
As a social analyst, I have already been confirmed and vindicated in all my predictions, regarding the here and now, predictions that I had written long before the general climate changed against Karamanlis and my accusing G. Papandreou of committing countless counts of high treason right after his election, always on the basis of substantive evidence.
We all must very well realize that ALL PARTIES WITHIN PARLIAMENT (AS WELL AS MOST OF THOSE WITHOUT) ARE FULL COMPLICITORS FOR THE PRESENT SITUATION, AS ALL OF THEM IN FACT CONDONE AND SUPPORT THE TREASON TAKING PLACE HEADED BY PASOK AND NDP.
If KKE and SYRIZA would verily wished to put a stop to this onslaught, their deputies would resign and call for election. If the President of the Democracy truly respected the Constituion, he would stall suspect law plans and would force the Government to resume proceedings to the body and render it unable to pass unless it enjoyed full majority (300 vote’s yea).
There is hardly any need for further analysis or proof of all the above, since many fellow commentators have also been dealing with this in a quite precise and eloquently descriptive manner.
What we should discuss now very seriously, now that we are in fact democratically headless (i.e., we have no democratic government) and have come to realize that whatever future is being propagandized by the economic nazists is not for us the Citizens, but for the oligarchs, the aristocrats, party members, and other cronies and collaborators, is what else we can do.
Whoever says that there is no other solution must be either a very scared individual or collaborator/member of those memberships we all seem to know, since not also history but also common sense show that there are many other solutions that secure survival for all and not only for some. (From the example of Argentina to the case of canton government in Switzerland, whenever we turn to look under the hubbub of the propaganda, we shall find many alternative solutions. Even the unconditional simple application of the Penal and Civil Code, active for the common folk, would produce results).
What we must do, as I always say, is to mobilize WITHOUT PARTY/UNIONIST INTERFERENCE and demand with the power of our signatures AND of our physical presence, three simple things:
1. Application of The European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR), i.e., setting human rights over and above monetary policies and economic interests but also above penal, civil, contract, international and constitutional law, as stipulated by law-making and the Constitution itself, a Convention that binds every state that has signed the treaty (and in our case, the sum total of European states) on every case.
2. Repeal of the law on parliamentary immunity and of every such similar protective law in the face of saving the Country and the protection of Man. Since, they already accept encroachment of the Constitution under the excuse of extreme measures, we shall also demand such treatment not on the stipulations responsible for the setup of Human Rights (as they in fact do) but on those laws of suspect legality and constitutionality.
3. Immediate taxation of every company, offshore or inshore, and in general of all forms and manners being related to the political and multi-entrepreneurial establishment (i.e., apart from the politicians and their relatives and collaborators, families like Lanaras, Kartalis, Angelopoulos Bros, Latsis, Vardinogiannis, etc) at 40%, subject also to real property and income audits (i.e., not only recording their property holdings but also tracing the manner in which these property holdings came under their ownership; to make sure these were not the result of opaque operations / contracts / commissions that have in fact been made at the expense of the state.
The above can and will be demanded, initially on paper through a plebiscite vote that we all have to sign as Greek Citizens. The passage is being prepared as we speak and is being simplified so that there will be no room for small print offering leeway for the politicians to maneuver.
We shall serve the result of this vote to the pertinent authorities (President of Parliament, President of Democracy, and the Prime-Minister) and the European Union. Apart from the official serving of such vote via a bailiff, we will all demonstrate / sit in, at least in Athens, so that we will bring to a standstill, TOTALLY PEACEFULLY, the usurpers of our Democracy within the Parliament up until they do what the People demands, as stipulated by the Constitution.
At this point and time we are watching our Constitution being encroached upon and deactivated, no matter what superficial excuse the de facto dictators throw up in the air.
To avoid resorting to ‘every means available’ to re-institute real Democracy in Greece, we must act now to safeguard our lives, our freedom and our prosperity.
Under real democratic rule the person who will legitimately carry the popular mandate is elected as head of the government, and that procedure also brings forth solutions that do not have to turn people into either masters or subjects, or better, into a few masters and countless subjugated subjects.
Under real democratic rule, we never have to resort to human sacrifice to appease gods, whether they are markets, employers, productivity, competitiveness or the survival of the euro zone.
It is time we remembered that economic systems are built to serve Man rather than Man made to serve them.
