The best way to keep a wild animal in captivity is to ensure that this animal will never taste existence in the wild, that is without limitations and full free will. The best way to ensure it is to have this animal be born in conditions of captivity so that it will feel safe only within them. Thus, a falcon can be persuaded it is a hen and that it will be safe only if it returns to the arm of its owner and allows the blinding hood to be pulled over its head instead of using its unprecedented vision, one of the best in nature.
In spite of that, even the falcon born in captivity is very dangerous and at any moment can decide to tear apart both the hood and the arm upon which it sits before flying away to hunt on its own without sharing its gains with others. That’s why the ones who work with such falcons learn ‘how to handle them’ so that the true instinct dormant within them will never be awoken, but meticulously kept latent.
That is precisely what political conduct is and we will analyze it in this article.
The People has always been, and not only in the case of Greece, like the falcon of our example. They are the ones with the force and the energy and the productivity: the wings and the claws. It is from the People that stemmed the groundbreaking pro-people philosophies and the enlightenment of every epoch and the true advancement of science. We have in previous articles defined who consists the People and that is why today we will repeat the definition but backwards, that is, who does not constitute the People:
Those who want, seek or have managed to live without work off revenue they have not worked for and are not entitled to because they come of the oppression of third parties are no part of the people of any country or Nation. That holds for all social classes and all scales, from the working class and the husband being sustained by the work of the wife and children while he maintains a position of supreme overlord (the same goes for wives in the same position) to the ruling class with the banker subjugating entire nations to his profit. IT IS NOT WORK any activity or series of actions aiming at exploitation, fraud and handleading of third parties. Therefore we cannot say that bankers, ship owners, industrialists, middle-people of all kinds and such business people are working.
Here we must state that there is a definite difference when people decide to cooperate with a proper work contract that does not exploit any side and the profit is analogous to the work / services rendered. Also, work without responsibility is a position of bilateral exploitation on the one part of the employee who earns little and on the other part of the employer who shoulders risks and worries for two people and not one. Those seeking such work relationships are at best people without awareness.
What then is political conduct and why are the above relevant?
All of society today, within and outside of Greece, pushes the work relationship we just described as the most coveted. To all who don’t belong to economic dynasties of some sort (there are such in all social classes) the tendency for independent work, self-employment and other types of non-dependent work (a tendency that in Greece had until recently been extremely prevalent) is quenched from very early in various manipulatory ways (see the Stigmata blog, the ‘Free Bondsman’ article).
This happens because dependent work in essence prolongs childhood and adolescence when the job holds no responsibilities. When we say responsibilities we mean strategic responsibilities touching upon the general well being and course of the work/ enterprise/ company and not responsibilities of administrative character affecting only whether the employee will keep the position or not. Such responsibilities as the latter are the exact type of the student with his homework, pivotally different than the ones of the teacher or even the post graduate student with the overseeing professor. That is to say, the employee, with the conditions promoted in society today is denied all the stimulation that would be able to lead him/her to mental adulthood. He/she remains an adolescent with the need to be guided and a frame or reference in a constant state of flux which he/she will never try to solidify to be constant regardless of the environment.
Children and adolescents look to adults to be told what to do and what to decide and how to think. Since, then, they never come of age since the work environment is just the same school (not university level) one, even as physically adult they will look to and do expect from the ‘adults’ of society to be told what to do, what to decide and how to think. In this manner it is very easy to explain how it is possible for ethic values to change like the wind within the same age cohort and people who were ready to lynch someone living a ‘promiscuous life’ live this exact life one or two decades later because society wills it so. In essence, of course, it is very logical to think that the education and work environment of society throughout the ages (or at least of modern society) produces people who are immoral in essence.
Who are those considered society’s adults, dictating what everyone else who is only physically adult but actually underage follows with reverence?
All those being raised to be the so called ‘opinion leaders’ and who in their adult lives take positions of politics, of state mechanism, international corporations and banks, mass media, religious administrative positions regardless of dogma, are the ones who are trained from a very tender age to become ‘leaders’. Those are the ones concentrating most of the characteristics of adult life (independent occupation/ cooperation, risks, responsibilities, etc) either in essence or superficially and have definitely learned to project the confidence of imposition, which demonstrates immediately to the essential underage adult that he/she must obey.
That exact point is the one where the falcon accepts to be hooded with the blinding hood: the essentially underage adult accepts to stop seeing him/herself and those around, primarily the one he/she is obeying, because he/she obeys the mechanism we just described. Despite knowing or parroting criticism about his/her leaders, he/she refuses to disobey them or change them, fully convinced that he/she cannot have better. Thus, therefore, he/she ignores the fact that he/she has both wings and claws to fly and fight and enjoy the fruits of his/her toil and gifts alone instead of letting them be usurped by leaders who have no wings nor claws and depend fully upon him/her.
Political conduct is exactly the art of manipulation that everyone being raised to become leaders (from the one learning how to manipulate all the members of one’s family so that they will be ‘managed’ or give one what one wants, to the one who learns how to manipulate in the same manner not only the members of one’s family but also entire states) learns. Political conduct is the methodology of not allowing the falcon- underage adult to realize his/her true power, that is, to come of age.
Anyone saying that anyone else ‘needs a shepherd’ is a politician and has political conduct. Anyone saying anyone else ‘needs to be educated by an educator’ is a liberator and true fighter for Humanitarianism and all without exception of the People.
What is the difference of the two?
The first one is never going to acknowledge that those depending on him/her at some point will not need him/her any longer and will be able to trace their own course independently as they like, but on the contrary will forever try to clip the wings and undermine any sense of self-worth not including him/her as a leader that should be supported and sustained by the followers.
The second one will never occupy him/herself with those who will not learn how to become independent and looks forward to the point when he/she will be able to tell the ones he/she is educating that they are now not under training any longer but independent cooperators/ allies, if they so wish it. For ever he/she will be trying to empower and arm those he/she is training to support and sustain their own selves alone exactly as he/she also is doing for him/herself.
