In one of his last television interviews T. Pangalos, in an effort to attribute status to the propaganda he unleashed on the behest of his government, called upon the Constitution of Greece to substantiate the argument for the mass firing of civil servants despite their tenure. He also had to affront to suggest on behalf of himself that the Constitution must be upheld to the letter.

If there wes true journalistic ethos around, and the persons who were on the screens had not been part and parcel of the goebbelist propaganda which seems to have been increasingly relied upon, so that it will become possible for a social destabilization to be imposed on the Greeks via the IMF and the EU, then he should have been at once asked, how is it that he tolerates the raping of the Constitution of the Greeks at broad daylight as far as the good of all Citizens is concerned (i.e., their well being, securing of a decent way of living, ability and opportunity to work, decent retirement plan, sense of safety and security, protection of national sovereignty, etc) and how it is that he can stand to watch the State inflict poverty and serfdom and practical genocide on the People of Greece when the Constitution itself forbids it.

Of course we all are aware of the fact that T. Pangalos, just like every other politician and organ of this propaganda which for the moment imposes nazism via the economy and not yet under the threat of armed violence, is not interested in being objective but in carrying out orders given by their superiors. And they engage in such an effort with the backup of and the reliance on the mass media which are owned and controlled by their superiors that guarantee that these puppets will never be questioned by a person, let alone the People, to such a degree that they will be forced to answer on the basis of objective proof.

Hence we are witnessing the phenomenon of the ‘legalized’ lawlessness, in combination with the ceaseless absurdity of the goebbelist propaganda which tries to enforce as correct, logical and legal what is absurd and cruelly unlawful.

On the other hand, real lawfulness, equality and justice for all citizens, as well as the naturally expected enforcement of the law (i.e., applying the law to the letter and not resorting to some curious ‘interpretation’ which privileges the few politicians – the power holders – the large-scale industrialists – the ship-owners – the lamoge of the political scene) is fought against viciously and systematically labelled wrongly (i.e., ‘communist’, ‘racist’, ‘black’, ‘extremist’, ‘fossilized’, ‘out of place and time’, etc), but when these labels simply collapse, the attack against propriety and lawfulness is in turn waged on how ‘undoable’, ‘utopian’, ‘theoretical’, ‘inapplicable’ the whole idea is.

In other words, the type of goebbelism already described, is trying to convince us that the trully legal and the impartial enforcement of the law is anything from bad and dangerous to undoable and utopian, while the misery brought about by anomie and injustice is a ‘one-way street’ and in fact ‘good for the People, the Nation and the country’.

Yet, just as the propaganda of the Nazis that had been for a while widely accepted collapsed and to claim it openly nowadays would be considered an opprobrium and simply criminal, so will every similar Nazi propaganda (and today’s Nazis, as we have analyzed, hide behind the label of the economic specialist and the evaluation houses, the markets, the banks, the investors / speculators, the EU / IMF officials, and of course the governments who have been inflicted on us) enjoy a period during the course of which it will be accepted and inculcated by the mass media and the political cronies (the so-called ‘career politicians’) only to collapse utterly later and lead to a wide admittance of the extent of its error and damage caused, when it will be too late to intercept and control its short-term consequences.

And the most absurd thing of all seems to be the fact that the same people who have brought on and fostered every such damaging propaganda, are also the ones who self-define themselves as the propaganda’s ardent opponents of its consequences and protectors of every righteousness, as if they were simply not there in the political scene when the present crisis was being prepared, and as if they were totally innocent and absolved of all responsibility.

The most recent example is set by G. Papandreou himself, who after a series of premeditated and mathematically certain actions, having targeted the country as prey to the hans of speculators – and his superiors, and after arguing so much in favor for the possibility of the country relying on IMF, through the ludicrous bluff of the ‘loaded gun on the table’, he said that that he, too, would undersign the People’s cry ‘oust the IMF out of Greece’ and that he ‘will fight to free Greece from the IMF’s hold’ (!).

Hence, in the regime of legalized lawlessness, in which even its own perpetrators openly admit to the fact that it was not the People’s fault that Greece has defaulted (if we can indeed talk about a real economic default, and not simply a scheme to annul all the Rights of Citizens in its name, since we still have to rely on the same liars, governmental, EU and IMF releases to get our information, knowing that such information will be biased, lied upon and tampered with), this same People are called upon and violently forced to expend themselves for the sake of crimes committed by others, definitely well-known individuals (who blatantly flash out their stolen stash, living in extreme opulence).

Under the regime of legalized lawlessness, that persons like T. Pangalos and his cronies, people like Michalos and Daskalopoulos, Provopoulos, Dominic Stross-Kan, Olli Rehn, and others promote and enforce as logical and doable and naturally desirable, the thief reigns and enjoys his stash, and his victim remunerates him for the pilfering, by becoming his slave, his free bondsman, his possession to deal with as he pleases.

But the time has come for us to realize that undoable and illogical are instead those measures imposed on us, and not the commonsensical application of logic: It should not have been undoable for all those and their gangs to be legally persecuted under penal and civil law; neither should it have been undoable for Human Rights to be protected over and above every argument for economic boost and business-related profits; and of course, non-utopian should have been regarded all those arguing for the IMPARTIAL enforcement of the sum total of the Constitution ( i.e., the first articles about Popular Will and Human Rights on Equality and Proportionality, as well as the stipulations on the security of the economic well-being of every Citizen) – and not only those parts of it that currently suit Pangalos: the law on parliamentarians’ immunity, and the law making it possible to declare redundant some hundreds of thousands of people en masse, while at the same time, the same parliamentarians are ready to spend millions on Muslim mosques and on parliamentarians’ awnings and PCs, coveted even by graphic designers, hiring of personnel for the parliamentarians’ out-of-Parliament and in-Parliament offices, allowances for participation on self-appointed committees, subsidies of their own first-class travel expenditures as well as those of their cronies, and so on and so forth.

Formally, the annual budget of the President of the Democracy exceeds 5m euro, and these are the apparent costs only.

How many pensions, allowances, 13th and 14th salaries will have to be cut so that a veritable useless, catechrestic and (treasonous) collaborator of theirs can live in a palace only to simply ratify every unconstitutional law voted for by the dictatorship of the majority in parliament?

Let alone of the fact that PASOK gained power in the October elections commiting fraud and juggling the results, and thus did not carry the People’s mandate that in October decried raising salaries, protection of the state of justice, and in general cancelling of all effects of NDP instead of strenghtening them and crystallizing them in Greek society.

Their logic on economic reforms and development is absurd and with mathematical certainty leads to extreme situations (a state that keeps on borrowing has no future: How on earth will we ever be able to pay off the 150 billion euro said to be siphoned into Greece to service the present national debt and not for anything else, that will of course keep on multiplying by compound interests? When shall we be free from IMF who will make sure that the debt will never be serviced well-enough, so that they will never leave us alone?) that will destroy the People but will greatly privilege the banks, the large-scale industrialists, the ruling class and the politicians in general. This is the beginning of an indefinite occupation and annexation of Greece to third parties (whether they be EU or IMF or the US).

Injustice and ‘legalized’ lawlessness should at long last become ‘undoable’ while ‘doable’ should become the enforcement of the law and of the Constitution on every single Citizen – and not the partialling out of the average Citizen in the most unconstitutional of ways.

For that to come to be, we should realize on the one hand, the importance of de-legalizing the elected government, and on the other, that any apathy and complacence on our part is misfounded under the false hope that all those pushing everybody to indigence will somehow saturate themselves: They will not; Such apathy will simply whet their audacity so that they will devise new ways to steal even more and plunder and raze all the more.

The more we remain inactive, the more we lose, and this has nothing to do with the economy and the state deficit that they manage.ith the With their actions, they have long proven ( for a series of decades) that no matter how strong austerity measures are enforced, the situation will deteriorate so as to provide the needed excuse for even more austere measures to be imposed, as if we are watching a fixed, poker game with unlimited bets and we are surrounded by card-sharpers: We will be the ones to lose and get plucked like chickens and when they have taken everything we had put on the table, they will probably feast on the plucked chickens to celebrate the whole deal. No matter how ‘undoable’ this might have seemed some time time back, it has become doable now.

It is in our hand to select what we should consider undoable and what doable, and this choice of terms should not be left up to the politicians, unionists, journalists, party cronies, foreigners from Europe or the US or from wherever else, or to ‘well-meaning’ double-talkers to tell us which is which to , since they will never have to live under the measures they enforce.
