The attempt of K. Karamanlis and his cabinet to act dictatorially ignoring the Constitution, the laws and the People’s demand for respect towards them and the reinstatement of order was a shambles. At this moment, the discontent of the People has developed to intolerance which is threatening the maintenance of K. Karamanlis and his cabinet in power. Consequently, action is being taken to manipulate the People so that the sentiment resulting from their antisocial and dictatorial policy will not manifest further.
The steps they are taking for damage control are the following:
1. dismissal from the ministry of the particular minister K. Karamanlis tried to impose on the people but not full persecution and raising of parliamentary immunity as should have been the case.
2. recording of the People’s sentiment (through polls being discussed and analyzed by the mass media) but in such a way that they will seem realistic later when they record an opposing sentiment in the near future: in this manner they will try to force the people to tolerate this government with the excuse “this is the common opinion” regardless that there is no indication in daily life and interactions supporting that claim.
3. interpreting of the necessary, due to the reaction and the power of the People, dismissal as an indication of the high morals of the government and the discretion of the particular minister who, given the opportunity, will be presented as the victim (like in the Zahopoulos case, where his demand for sex from his employee through blackmail because of his ministry position was glossed over and he was presented as a victim because of his attempted suicide lest the scandal be publicized). A silencing of the great reaction and anger and denial to resign by the minister, which he himself had publicly declared, is done as well as full silencing of the prime minister’s attempt to cover for him fully, which showed the prime minister to be an accomplice and an originator receiving rewards from the minister’s action as well as committing similar unconstitutional activities and perjuries.
In case these measures/ steps for damage control don’t yield results and the People continue not to tolerate K. Karamanlis and his cabinet, in order for this group, which has been embezzling and stealing the fortune and future of the people, to secure all they have embezzled and stolen for themselves as well as those supporting them so they can bring them profit without directly causing the People’s wrath:
1. G. Papandreou is projected as the solution with a speech in the International Trade Fair which, while in essence saying clearly that he will do exactly what K. Karamanlis announced, is presented in a more pro-People profile. This profile, however is superficial only since the measures / policies he suggested have a great margin and potential to undermine and mortgage the People one more time. This is exactly what happened when, highly discontented by the anti-People government of K. Simitis of PASOK, the People turned due to misdirection towards K. Karamanlis and elected his government so that they would put an end to the highly unconstitutional work of the Simitis government, basic member of which was also G. Papandreou ( coming soon is a presentation of the content analysis of his speech on our site).
2. the feeling of choice among an assortment of political parties like SYRIZA (an amalgam of communism, socialism and capitalism), and LAOS (extreme-right) in the case the People is aware or enraged enough not to select either of the two big political parties, with parliamentary leaders who had been in both these two big political parties and showed clearly the way they act and their stance/ attitude. The KKE (the communist party) has for several decades declared to me personally as well as through its political activity that they never aim to be elected government or a significant political power. Certainly this fact denotes that the KKE leadership does not want to threaten (and therefore supports and protects) exactly the ones they claim to be their opponents: the big capital, the several anti-People/ unconstitutional governments, globalization and economic imperialism.
In the following editorial we will present a technocratic analysis of the policy which should be followed with the protection of the Citizen as its goal as well as the Citizen’s financial well being (and what this entails objectively), because that is directly feasible and not utopic. We will also present what guarantees each politician should give and how in order to have the People’s trust.
