In a rather unsurprising and certainly not unprecedented reverie of utter effrontery, total lack of respect for and ridicule of the Greek People, the obediently- servile to foreign masters practical dictator G. Papandreou, buttressed behind an army of riot police of dubious identity, delivered his opening speech in the International Trade Fair of an occupied and downfallen Thessalonica.
In content and intent, he declared to us, following his latest style in public appearances, that in spite of all possible confrontation against the sum total of the Greek People, running counter to every Constitutional mandate, and unbound by any Law and legislation regarding Human Rights and protection of People within their borders, he intends to dismantle and annihilate all Greece, draining it bare from all sense of National and Public entity (and thus, from all sense of national Independence, Self-determination and Freedom).
He repeated the phrase ʽat all costsʼ which however is incongruent in an Democratic framework: he simply does not have the right and neither can any elected servant of the Popular Mandate to disregard that mandate on and of his own accord, or following orders or advice from foreign centers, nor can he ever be justified in countering the Will of the majority, regardless of what that Will mandates, since we live in a standing Democracy that in principle is supposed to obeisant to such Will, regardless of personal wishes or influences.
Many times it has been underlined that this particular dictator (under the full force of the definition) received a mandate – empowering a contract with the People to proceed with all the things that stood opposed to what he has actually been doing so far. In fact, GAP proceeded in full contempt and blatant disregard of the fundamental principles of Democracy. The only reason he has not yet been legally thrown down by Law (and not only because of the reaction of the Greek People) is because the likes of him (regardless of political labels) has made it practically impossible to utilize any institutionalized means of indictment and transfer of power to anybody else except to his clique. His clique, as we all know too well, comprises indiscriminately everyone who supposedly is a guarantor of the Democratic regime (for instance, the President of the Democracy, the President of Parliament, the Leaders of the Opposition Parties, the State Inspectional Committee, etc).
Under the present situation, the only thing that remains, as in all dictators, is the indiscriminant waste of funds belonging to the Greek People, which he grabs in every effort and manner, reaching fast down to the level of the simple gangster who all of a sudden gained access to the State apparatus, to mobilize battalions of repressive force, to enforce still more illiberal and controlled mass-media and full control of the corrupt, historically-standardized ʽmechanisms of institutionalized reactionʼ and ʽPeopleʼs controlʼ (unions, etc).
His speeches, therefore, since he no longer cares or thinks of himself in communication with a People whom he considers the enemy and the adversary, have acquired the character of a uncontested ʽroyal decreeʼ, reminiscent of the Turkish Sultanʼs ʽfermanʼ. This was the character of his opening speech in the International Trade Fair of Thessalonica on September 9th 2011.
Yet, because the cries for justice and the actions of the Greek People aiming at his arrest and formal indictment not only for High Treason but also for crimes against Humanity in International Tribunes and in Popular Courts are fast becoming generalized, he attempted, in the arrogance characteristic of his class, to exploit not only Greece but practically every nation state, to dress his message in democratic principles and to target the patriotism and the sense of duty of the Greeks, to convince them to accede to their becoming serfs under a new Occupation (indeed again of the German type), calling all of us to accept it in the name of the Motherland (!), which he has announced he intends to destroy at all costs.
In his carefully-planned and full of imprecise generalities opening speech, he had the effrontery to argue that he was actually carrying the mandate of the People to change the Country, but in no way did he engage that argument to the fact that he chose to follow a radically different policy of political protection of the People and of their incomes, of the National and State assets, of the pertinent Human Rights of the Greeks and the securing of the wellbeing not of the banks but of the People.
In a debauchery of truth worthy of an offspring of fascists and nazists who could not effectively exploit all social and political achievements of the Greeks during older times, he nullifies all possibility for the average Greek citizen to exist on life-sustaining work, to enjoy free education, to have access to medicare, to have protection of his / her National identity and pride and to battle negative population increase (please note that ignoring of or causing negative population increase of a People by its leadership is defined as genocide according to International Legislation and the International Tribunal at the Hague).
He promised one working person (a breadwinner) in every family: in other words, he reduced the income of every family to bare subsistence level probably well under the poverty barrier, having to deal with thin salaries, pay cuts, benefit cuts and in general ever-going pay restrictions.
He promised to build a state whose revenue would be exclusively based on taxation instead of generating additional surplus: In sort, he announced that he is viewing Citizens as a capital exploitable by banks, the foreign third party occupiers and of the general international elite.
He promised the continuation of the NGO action: in other words, the complete and utter privatization of the nation state apparatus and the cover up of every illicit process towards the benefit of the private and not the public interest, or in other words, the transformation of the Greek Nation State into an official protectorate and a colony as they are both historically defined.
He promised the emergence of ʽnational benefactorsʼ: that is, the further demoting of the Greek People into an amorphous mass of pathetic beggars who would have to accept with gratitude all actions of ʽwell-wishing benefactorsʼ meaning every parasite who will grant such ʽphilanthropic giftʼ with the money (exacted via general taxation) from those pathetic beggars, and whose extorted funds the parasite has previously received by means of MGO-related subsidies functioning under the protection of the above-mentioned dictator.
He promised us the opening of the closed professions, but in the process he forgot to mention that he meant opening the professions to the big-dealers and the restricting access to the average Citizen who, beguiled, would try to seek work within the ʽopenedʼ or ʽliberatedʼ profession.
He promised handing all particularly-lucrative infrastructure of the Greek State, three and four times paid in gold by all of us Greek Citizens, to his friends and his bosses, and whose funding he secures through even more stringent taxation while the benefits accruing from all such taxation siphoning off to private investors.
After promising the unclear, illicit and opaque dealing regarding the handing of national land and assets to private investors on dubious criteria which do not bode well for any National interests, he also announced his intent to exploit further energy sources, which again he will siphon off to the same foreign recipients and not to the Greek People (not even attempting in process to tell us how he intends to secure us from further trouble given the Turkish animosity and the defeatism so characteristic of his clique). Not to mention his other promise for soaring prices of utility bills so that to secure ʽcompetitivenessʼ by privatizing the power grid of the country (following the telecommunications model).
So, where exactly lies his confession?
It lies in his literally pathetic effort to explain as if he were a newcomer in the Greek political scene, how the situation got worse instead of getting better, by continuously resorting to his ʽself-sacrificeʼ, his ʽprideʼ and ʽpatriotismʼ and to making continuous calls for a show of ʽprideʼ of the Greeks whom he reviled (indirectly but certainly) by saying that they were corrupt, effete, sybaritic and generally worse than the other People.
He simply confessed to being part of the cause of the deteriorating situation in his effort to convince the Greek People to accept the accusations, while reality, as we have many times argued and shown, is that he and his clique (as also many times defined) were routinely creating the conducive context within which these vermin flourished while the Greek People had been withering and subsisting for the past thirty years.
And because he knows too well how close he has come to being called to answer for all his crimes, he finished his address by call on accentuating circumstances to claim that he is ʽnot infallibleʼ since he is treading on ʽuncharted territoryʼ and expecting us to hold him to his proclaimed ʽgood will and wishʼ. This is something that can in no way be substantiated, given his serial actions and the ease which he stands for the beating of Citizens during riots.
Regardless, International Law does not recognize this call of ʽgood willʼ in the face of evidence to the contrary as evinced by the incurable cause of damage on the sum total of the populace, a fact to which he confessed, saying that he is fully cognizant of, aims at further enforcing and in general is after.
