Re: Request for specifying stance on issues of infringement of the Constitution and Human Rights of the Greeks
I was informed via a number of electronic mass media sources that on the pretext of celebrations for the upcoming Ramadan, your authority intends to permit a mass public show attended by thousands of Islam followers, which as estimated could invite tens or even hundreds of thousands of those people, brought together in several areas in central Athens which are of critically important historical and symbolic value. It is also certain that the organizers – promoters of this particular happening intend to extend an open invitation to attend not only to the legal immigrants of Islamic faith, but to all persons of Islamic faith, regardless of whether that person is a Greek, foreigner, legally permitted or illegally residing on Greek soil.
Apart from the fact that this particular practice of celebrating this Islamic religious occasion poses HUGE DANGERS TO PUBLIC SAFETY IN A PERIOD OF SURROUNDING GEOPOLITICAL IMBALANCES (the Syrian uprising, threats and aggressive policies on the part of Turkey in connection with the Greek economic zone, etc), allowing easy access to every terrorist and provoking individuals to endanger on a mass scale not only the lives of Greek Citizens but also of any other innocent bystander (including Summer tourists) at this time in Athens, such practice is also vertically opposed to the Stipulations of our Constitution regarding the defense of Greek Identity at any case.
In particular, according to Article 3, par. 1 of the Constitution of Greece ʽthe dominant religion is the East Orthodox Church of Christʼ, and according to Article 13, par 2 of the Constitution of Greece, while of course respecting the free-exercise of every known religion and its religious practices which may be performed freely and under the protection of the law, ʽexercise of worship must not offend the public order or the accepted customʼ. Also, again in accordance with the Constitution of Greece, you first concern should be ʽthe moral, spiritual…education of the Greeks, the development of National and religious identity and raising free and responsible Citizensʼ (Article 16, par. 2S). Also, our Constitution also obligates you to ʽprotect the natural and cultural environmentʼ which the Constitution stipulates as a Right of every Citizen (article 24, par. 1).
Apart from the above, our Constitution clearly and succinctly <b>FORBIDS THE CATACHRESTIC EXERCISE OF HUMAN RIGHT (Article 25, par. 3). </b>
Based on the simple experience of the previous year, but also based on the most essential principles of social psychology, it is easy to reach the apparent conclusion that the mass concentration of Islamic followers, who are not even citizens of Athens of legal immigrant status, let alone being Citizens of the State or Greeks, will substantively and foundationally dilute the cultural character of Athens, since instead of the image of the ancient Greek spirit and Greek Christian faith that are symbolically represented in our National Flag, Athens will appear as if it is a Muslim colony of Mecca.
Also particularly traumatic to all Greeks and in particular to the citizens of Athens is this exposure to a violent changeover and adulteration of the usual surroundings, which is made even more traumatic because it is supported by authorities which operate on taxpayersʼ money and who have sworn to promote the Greek Spirit, the Greek culture and secure the feeling of Greek Civilization at all times, without lapses or intervals, since all Greeks have common historical conscience not only of the four-century old slavery by Islamic occupiers, but also by the recent problems the Greeks have to face by populations who match their Islamic identity to that of the national Turk (e.g., 1922, 1955 and 1958, 1974, 1996, and so on).
This, in other words, amounts to a massive insult of the Greek Identity and it is also an exercise of psychological violence of huge proportions. This is opposed not only by the Constitution of Greece as we have presented above, but also by the totality of the Charter of Human Rights, since <b><u>no one has the right to infringe upon the Human Rights of his or her fellow human being during the exercise of his or her own Rights and Privileges.</u></b>
This concerns a catachrestic and not necessary infringement as common practice proves, but also the action taken to succeed at this mass meeting (i.e., it has nothing to do with a natural need but it is a promoted event whose purpose is not to serve religious Rights whatsoever), shows that persons of Islamic faith may practice their worship at their own places without any hindrance or harassment by anyone. That is, under no circumstances is the personal Human Right of every Muslim to worship according to his religious practices thwarted. However his religion, according to out Constitution is NOT the dominant one and so it MUST NOT appear to be such.
But at the same time, and this year in particular, this practice infringes on the Rights of the Greeks, as well as of other persons, who are Christians, regardless of dogmatic differences, including all those Greeks who, in the name of Greek Education and Spirit, do not tolerate imposition of practices promoting backwardness as defined by Greek Education, as regards the position of women, or persons of different faiths.
As it is well known, the day of August 15th is a highly important religious occasion of the Greek-Orthodox faith and culture, and imposing on that day, across strategic sites in downtown Athens, a sight of intense Islamic element, with Muslims flowing into the rallying points on that day, with whatever collateral show they may care to flaunt at the rest of us, under the pretext of their cultural discontent and implicit efforts to enforce their presence on the environment, regardless of whether they have a legal right to be here or not, constitutes a blatant infringement and trespassing on the Right of Greek Christians to worship without any harassment at the places and time created by their own toil, sacrifices, and Fights, as well as poses a danger of conflict in case the presence of different religious symbols provoke bilateral reactions. In any case, regardless of whether you realize the grave danger of generalized incidents or not, you are liable for criminal negligence changes.
Further, only the sheer cost incurred by EL AS (Greek Police) to keep order (not to mention installation and personnel costs) for the benefit of a single occasion which has no purpose in taking place other than to serve anti-national purposes and promotion of anarchy and violence, will certainly burden the already greatly impoverished Greek Citizens who have reached such levels of humanistic crisis that not even the celebration of Democracy was deemed worthy of being organized this year, giving Greek Citizens a further push to the void.
Following the above:BECAUSE the parameters of this mass and totally dangerous public rally DO NOT PROTECT ANY HUMAN RIGHT WHICH IS NOT ALREADY UPHELD
BECAUSE the nature of this mass assembly is opposed to the letter of the articles of the Constitution of Greece regarding the protection of the Greek culture, civilization, environment, religious culture and Education in general
BECAUSE there is a chance at attempted conversion to foreign religion and creation of an environment of fear and terror for the Greek Citizens
BECAUSE this mass assembly opposes the foundational principles of Hellenism as regards aggressive religious practices
BECAUSE in their majority, persons following the Islamic faith and presently residing on Greek soil equate their religion to their national identity and the interests of Turkey, a state with strong militant policy against Greeks as it is officially assessed by the casus belli status in complete disregard of the UN regulations.
BECAUSE there is high potential danger for National and Civil security
BECAUSE there are sovereign rights regarding the command and use of the Greek territory which are being infringed, indeed of the capital by aliens of unknown origin and residency status who CHOOSE to attend this mass assembly with the same ease they CHOOSE to coexist, uninvited at a place where Greeks have historically resided and who have priority and a birth right to command such place as their majority and Democracy have ordained, and as a consequence of which they also have the responsibility of caring for and maintaining such a place.
BECAUSE you have sworn to defend and protect, to promote the Greek Ideals, practices and demands, of which Islam is no part, as can be easily proven historically.
BECAUSE any extra spending on the part of the state on this totally unnecessary religious feast organizing event which is potentially wrought with dangers and incurs such costs that may provoke incidence of criminality from fanatics who declare themselves as Islamists / settlers / illegal aliens in Greece, may further burden Greek taxpayers who are facing conditions of financial extermination and physical genocide.
I LAWFULLY REQUEST FROM YOU:
To revoke any license issued for the organization of such mass Islamic assembly
To inform me about your stance on all the above and provide legal justification as to how you promote the interests of the Greeks and in particular, those of the Athenian Citizens as the law and the Constitution and Human Rights clearly stipulate
To prove that your actions are in agreement with and ratified by the Greek Citizens for this particular decision given that the latest documentation issued by ELSTAT strongly underline the fact that no electoral result can be considered valid or representative of the Will and self-determination of the Greek Citizens.
To guarantee, putting your personal property, salary and political privileges as collateral, that there will be no damage caused either due to acts of sabotage or provocation leading to generalized incidences or from any other case of destruction either of life or property, including the added costs incurred by any state authority for the safeguarding of such an assembly.
Given all the above, I inform you that on the basis of moral law you will be considered the perpetrator of any infringement, misconduct and infraction (ranging from material damages to the disturbance of the peace and dissolution of the character of the community to causing offence to the integrity, personality and National identity of any Greek Citizen who may register a complaint invoking these grounds) as is the case due to the mass assembly you have issued a permit for, but also simple collaborators of every communicative association that should take place by third parties regarding the international community in relation to the Greek Identity and the demographic characteristics of the Greek territory, as well as of every attempt at undermining the Sovereign Rights of Greece. This danger may be realized on account of the justification practices followed historically by Turkey against Greece.
