As you must have already understood by reading the baseless and completely unsupported answer of the police as a response to our letter that demanded observance of and respect for our Constitutional Rights, ELAS (Hellenic Police) is attempting to support a claim by twisting and selectively re-interpreting the law, and by distracting attention away from the real issue and to certain laws according to which ELAS is legitimately using its means to achieve psychological and actual suppression of the average citizenʼs right to free access.
As you are going through the answer that we suggest you send to GADA (in case you have still not received an answer from them, please find attached copy of their response to us which should be identical to the ones you will receive), please consider that according to the rulings of the Supreme Court of Appeals and the Supreme State Court, ʽpeaceful crowdʼ is defined as the crowd of people who are not engaged in committing a criminal activity as defined by the penal lawʼ, i.e., ʽpeaceful crowdʼ is any crowd who shouts, boos, repeats mottos and generally demonstrates within the law without threatening the life of anybody (but who can emotionally express whatever they want) and therefore simply applies their right to free expression.

Let us pressurize the police to declare openly that this government considers us enemies of the state, and that nowadays we are not supposed to have equal rights to those of the ʽofficialsʼ attending the parade, contrary to what was the case in the past, and that National Celebrations and the parades have been turned into private shows paid for by the People but without any right to attend to; that access to the Unknown Soldier, that is, the Monument that symbolizes the sacrifice of a father, brother and son, fallen for this country when the families of the ʽofficialsʼ were secure in a foreign country, feasting on the gold reserve they took with them, is denied to all Citizens but the club of the traitors in the government, parliament and their brood.
