During every process of confrontation and tug-of-war, there are stages
whereby attempts to reach a target fail and therefore should be
rejected as future options. As soon as this process is completed, the
final blow is cast that ends the confrontation.

When the confrontation is between a people and their wannabe dynasts,
the historical end result has always been victory for the people.
However, what we must understand is that while the people as a
totality will eventually win over, certain isolated individuals within
this totality will eclipse. In their highest proportions, these
individuals are the anonymous inactive elements who try to get by
incurring the least possible risk and the highest possible profits.
They are the people who ‘do not get involved’, ‘do not bother’, they
are never the ones ‘to get the chestnuts out of the fire’. This is the
sort of the people who will expect the others to push the events to
fruition while they themselves hide or occupy themselves in acts which
in any case make it easier to the regime, whom they indirectly expect
the others, the politically active ones, to oust without themselves
lifting a finger to help, or even worse, by just sitting it out and
waiting for the beast to commit suicide.

Through the duration of the 25th of March 2012, and in Athens in
particular, the following phenomenon was observed:

1. a split in the population occurred with one part boasting the
hypocritical pretences which offered an excuse at avoiding direct
confrontation with the carrier of the regime at the point that would
have been crucially important to the regime (i.e., Syntagma Square
during the parade) while offering themselves the illusion and alibi of
‘resistance’. A good example of such activity was the marathon race
organized away from the centre and intended to show a so-called ‘act
of resistance’ while in fact it was nothing but blind obedience to all
deny-access prohibitions that had been arbitrarily imposed by the
regime as well as all activity that took place after the fact around
the Syntagma Square, which again posed no threat to the image and will
of the regime. In fact the epitome of all hypocrisy in these cases lay
in calling upon the highest symbols of resistance at every relevant
era, like the time of Koloktronis and Gregorios Lambrakis, both of
whom never avoided friction and direct, frontal confrontation, and did
not play act the ‘resistance fighters’ from places where they would
bother no-one, obeying to the directives, regulations, prohibitions
and demands of every dynast: Kolokotronis fought the Turkish army
lines face to face and made war on them, rather than play act the
resistance sympathiser from abroad, while Gregorios Lambrakis run the
Marathon when such race had been expressly prohibited by the then
regime of the Right and was arrested despite his being an active MP.
He did not choose to protest about this prohibition in any other area
that the regime could not care less about. That is why, at that time,
he walked the walk alone.

2. Open admission of the tangible threat the regime felt coming from
the people with the unprecedented ‘security measures’ of the
instruments of the regime we fight today so that the People and the
Country and the Nation will survive. This unprecedented policing was
the necessary dropping of the mask that has been registered, and the
concomitant realization of the unacceptability and rejection of all
those in government by the People. It was, in other words, the seal of
the dictatorship that so far they had fought tooth and nail to avoid
disclosing. In conjunction with the shown disapproval – refusal to
honour those in government by the parading students who did not turn
their heads in salute, and who gestured at them with quite a different
meaning, or finished their parade before they reach ‘the officials’,
we have embedded proof for the utter rejection of the pro-government
cronies by the People and its young generation. However, simple
rejection and disapproval does not equate with lack of tolerance. Only
democratic-minded governors resign in the face of total disapproval
and rejection. Dictators of every sort and style never resign
regardless of the level, extent and tangibility (yogurt pelting) of
disapproval. If they are not forcibly ousted, they simply hand the
baton to other dictators no matter what mask the latter might don
(i.e., from dictator Papadopoulos and Ioannides to Karamanlis –
Papandreou and the rest of the transitional period puppets).

3. Now the propaganda target is the massive curbing of the violent
persecution and violent punishment of the regime puppets. That is the
reason for the talk about elections, even though there has been no
announcement of election period, during the whole week prior to the
25th of March, so that the People could hold themselves from bursting
out into a violent takeover, held in the expectation of the coming
elections. But, even if elections do come, a rather improbable
occurrence, or come in an unconventional manner, it is clear that the
regime puppets will not go away even if the electoral results say they
should. Just think about the talk going around these days about the
non-elected -but imposed by the regime – Papademos to remain in place
regardless of electoral results, proves beyond doubt that
election-talk is a diversionary tactic to give the People the illusion
that the beast is going to self-destruct while in reality it will for
ever elude its death. Further, and beyond the presence of
representatives, the commonly accepted and many time over reinstated
statement that the Memorandum regime and the foreign-imposed state of
ward will not cease regardless of the election result, should convince
the rest of you that there is no chance for true and
Democratically-held elections after which the People’s vote will bring
any change whatsoever.

What you the People should comprehend from the 25th of March 2012 is
that they are scared of you but that they are also putting you on
because they consider you an imbecilic native who will be
razzled-dazzled by the sparkling beads they promise and will stop
short of giving them the final blow and they are truly afraid of and
terrified by.

They truly hope that you shall keep running where you will not be a
bothering problem for them, that you will listen to what your new
leaders have to say to make it stick that you should be afraid of
their hollowness and make-believe strength which is nothing compared
to yours when you decide to listen to your own conscience and react
only on the mandate that it gives you, and that you will keep on
shouting at them, thus showing your resistance, but in a manner that
is innocuous and harmless to them and their regime, and that at the
end, you shall play along with the mockery of the elections, if and
when they decide to grant them to you to uphold their front and alibi.

True revolutionaries, the real resistance fighters either walk alone
or together at the very spot that their threats and prohibitions deny
them access to because only then do they show that such prohibition
has no legitimacy over them, that they neither condone nor accede to
surrendering anything that is theirs to the adversary. True resistance
fighters do not care of what will happen to them nor do they take
stock of their threats because this means submission and de facto
recognition of their power to issue threats in the first place.

Elections cannot bring their overthrow and any change.

The so-called ‘anti-regime’ or ‘resistance shows’ are just ludicrous
shows that are the least bit the concern of those in power of the
totalitarian regime (there is no democracy).

Tolerance to the police under the pretext that police officers are
under orders (that is, they uphold the illegal regime against the
Constitution and Democracy) amounts to open-ended tolerance of the
executive branch of the illegal regime. Police should be respected,
accepted and positively treated only when they follow the Constitution
and constitutional law and not the arbitrary orders of the usurpers of
power.

If you do not stop recognizing the self-imposed power of each and
every one of them – from the smallest and insignificant public servant
to the police officer and the government to the president of the
democracy (whom you hire and pay for) as being higher and heavier than
yours, which is the Greek People, you will never be Sovereign and you
will never approach the ballot to elect representatives. You will
always vote to re-elect your dynasts (to put it mildly).

Stop giving credence to each an every small-time leader in or out of
parliament that he or she will take care of you better than you can
take care of yourself. Everyone will use you to further their own
interests and causes and the more you show them that you have the
stuff of the obedient follower (of the most ridiculous of them to the
most untouchable) the more they will think of you as an ignorable
quantity and an idiot (whatever else that may mean).

But because there are signs that you are neither an idiot nor an
ignorable quantity, get it through your scull that there is no
painless way to cut the gangrene off you. You can only cut if off with
a knife which you can use to rid your body of it or not use and allow
it to rot along with it slowly and tortuously.

Only you can do it. No ‘representative’ can or will do it for you.
Stop expecting your saviour to come and salvage you and your family
and act to save yourself and your family.

Listen, at last, to the voice of survival.
