THE CASE OF MURDERS BY THE POLICE

The implication of the police in shady and cold-blooded murders is not something new. The possession of guns and license to perform violence has always been a tool which is forbidden for the People but used freely by those who rule, falsely claiming that they are acting in the name of the ones they are suppressing.

Why falsely?

If we follow the incidents of true suppression and who truly gets protection through this suppression, we will notice the following systematic phenomenon:

The SWAT team forces and policemen in general repulse, push away and suppress the true demonstrations and protests of the People (e.g. the removal of the People from outside the Parliament when the parliament members are in session, from the Ministries when envoys go to file positions and demands and when the assorted minister or inhabitant of upper class areas wishes to speedily cross through Athens).

On the contrary, the SWAT forces never suppress or arrest the small numbers of hooded men who commit all sorts of vandalisms and terrorist violence which has nothing to do with the expression of any position, even if a faulty one. These particular hooded people are always within the vice of the police officers who protect them from the efforts of the true protesters to stop the hooded people from committing destruction. They also act during hours when Citizens donʼt protest or demonstrate, blatantly and with the police just watching and never arresting, stopping or obstructing the destruction of the Citizensʼ toil.

But why would they want the existence of the hooded people and who are they?

As always, in order to find the one seeking the existence or creation of any stimulation or event (good or bad) we must sufficiently substantiate an answer to the question of who benefits from this condition.

The existence of the hooded people creates the following:

1. great destruction in public property which the state afterwards rebuilds.
2. big and pompous analyses on the insufficiency of the state or the police, leading to new funds for all sorts of upgrades.
3. a sense of great insecurity and threat for the property as well as the life of the Citizens, fact which gives the state the excuse to go on to totalitarian measures of unconstitutional nature for the ensuring of security.

Therefore, the hooded people give the chance and the pretense to:

1. the heavily funded works to reconstruct again and again the same thing, something which is very profitable for the ministers and those who take up the works and who support the politicians.
2. the personal and political party promotion of those who give opinions, comment on and are paid to direct and mold common opinion, ascribing to these hooded people any identity serves them.
3. the arbitrary law breaking and breaching of the Constitution and the laws by judiciary and police agents who pretend that this platoon of hooded people belongs to anarchists/ anti-rulers and therefore is a dangerous to public order.

This, therefore, shows us that those who cultivate and want and promote the behavior of the police as well as the hooded ones are the usual manipulators who have taken hold of state positions (since at least the end of the second World War) as we have described and proven in other articles on this site, and who subdue and suppress the People as covertly as possible.

The one who is harmed in every way and in every level and therefore doesnʼt have any connection to the crime is the People who are injured, killed and robbed and jeered during these episodes.

Who therefore benefits and wanted to have a young minor of middle class murdered?

The official version which we ought to begin from, as we always do, is that Alexis was killed by a singular police office who chose to shoot him for ʽbravadoʼ.

This is in no way substantiable or accurate for the following reasons:

1. a police officer always receives orders when he/she is in uniform in an ordered position.
2. a police officer on duty does not act on his/her own but is always accompanied by another police officer and orders from the headquarters.
3. a family man police officer (as they said the perpetrator was) does not risk his position, his freedom and his life so blatantly.
4. the most direct display of ʽbravadoʼ is not shooting but the hauling to the precinct for checking of identity.

This means that if truly the police officer had ʽpickedʼ the particular young man and wanted to kill him, like it happened to Diomedes Komnenos in 1973, we would wait to be off service or have official coverage so that it would not be certain or definite through eye witnesses that a police officer killed in cold blood and without reason a minor Citizen.

Also, the fact that the broadcasting of this newsflash was automatic and lightning quick in making world news, implies a different kind of readiness. Additionally, the tendency to slander and twist Alexisʼ identity as an anarchist or hooded person in the beginning, a theory that is very reluctantly given up (if at all) by the foreign news networks even now, shows the wish to project that there is a terrorist element and general anarchy and Democracy dissolution in Greece.

However, based on our analysis regarding the hooded people and their origins it is obvious that something like that is just cultivated without being real.

Therefore, we are forced to direct ourselves to the search for different motives besides the psychopathology for this heinous execution.

In 1973, the events in the Polytechnic School, which the police cultivated after caging the students in the buildings instead of allowing them to disperse, was used as a trigger/ excuse for the destabilization of the state (regardless of regime) which led to its superficial toppling and the tragedy of Cyprus (Turkey claimed a need to protect its nationals in Cyprus and did the invasion that eradicated so many Hellenic families). The coordination of the state at that time to sabotage all the efforts of the People to protect the Cypriot co-Citizens and the Greek lands shows that the entire event sequence was pre-designed, that persons with pure heart and Ethnic sentiment were used and spent and that the treaties that had been forced to given to Greece more power and status were nulled.

As it was ʽtopplingʼ, the junta called as a ʽsaviorʼ and only one fit to rule Greece within the crisis, K. Karamanlis senior, who very faithfully kept and protected all the junta-enforced laws and conditions the people were expecting to have abolished, such as e.g. the junta-enforced law of parliamentary immunity and the law regarding the voiding of responsibility of ministers.

Of course the public emotion of the Greeks cannot be held in check for long and after the disappointment of the 1981 ʽchangeʼ, A. Papandreou, seeing that he was not going to be allowed in power for long, allowed the first fully publicized murder by a police officer: the murder of Michael Kaltezas in 1985. Just as in the case of Alexis, the newly-appearing with the reinstatement of the democratic regime hooded ones had created an atmosphere of destruction and anarchy during which M. Kaltezas was executed with a bullet at the back of his head. He was 15 years old at the time.

This assassination by a police officer had the following benefits for the Papandreou government: it rallied the people around the so-called socialist government, an excuse was given and potential for more suppressive means and the unheard of (at the time) idea that there were terrorist elements in Exarhia, the heart of Athens, was founded. Also, it allowed for the first time the legal abolition of the university sanctuary that Papandreou himself had been elected to establish in 1981 and which he had institutionalized in 1982.

The murderer of M. Kaltezas, police officer Athanasios Melistas, did not spend a single day in jail doing time (which was initially just two and a half years on parole) and was eventually acquitted by the lawyer A. Lykourezos and a fully cooperative board of judges. This parody of a trial shows that the executioner Melistas went ahead to commit the murder of M. Kaltezas having trust in the assurances that he wouldnʼt be punished for it.

Only with this kind of logic and assurance can a police officer go on to execute in such a blatantly heinous and public manner before several eye witnesses.

According to the history we just presented, Alexisʼ murder, now in December 2008 and in the full swing of the economic crisis and great rage of the People towards the Karamanlis government and the general political scene of the country, is taking on a new light, new accessories before the fact and a different level of political significance.

The unhindered and protected by the police activity of the hooded ones who burn National monuments (Libraries, museums, etc), ministries, businesses and banks as well as police precincts give the following spurs and potential for all those holding political positions to get out of the sticky spot:

1. the government can appear strong and/or that it is responding to crises if it ʽmanagesʼ to enforce order, which it is by itself disturbing.
2. politicians can display a humanistic persona.
3. the government will give more money to the banks and other networked associates while it will be flaunting the aid measures after the destructive action of hooded ones.
4. employers of multi-national corporations and big businessmen have an alibi for letting off employees, thus avoiding the social decry.
5. potential for harsh suppressive measures is open at any moment.
6. potential for change of the government under this pretext and not by openly admitting to the great pre-determined failure of the government in the defense of socio-economic life of the Citizens this moment is feasible.
7. forgetfulness regarding the great scandals against the people, Humans and the Nation is achieved with the decoy of the hooded ones (even Alexisʼ murder becomes secondary).
8. the establishment of the police as a suppressive and totalitarian agent to the level of an occupation army is achieved after the willful destruction of National monuments which no Greek is allowed to have destroyed.

Based on the above it is obvious that Alexis was not a simple victim of a psychopathic lunatic police officer but the victim of an execution ordered by all those who at the moment are trying to exploit all this manipulatory propaganda around the facts for which the murder was used as a pretext alone and not a reason.

We will analyze in our next article with better detail the different aspects of this political crime, including the role of the mass media in the direction of the common opinion on how Citizens should think regarding the events as well as the great censorship / distortion taking place. However, we owe it to truly honour Alexisʼ memory by not allowing them to use him as they are attempting to, i.e. as the smoke screen behind which they hide and justify the further beating down of the People, the peopleʼs life and property, but to think of Alexis as who he really was: A Greek boy murdered for the interests of those in power and the plutocrats hiding behind the assorted political parties and governmental positions.
