Our gained experience says that whatever the petty dictators are
trying to use to convince us that black is white contrary to what our
own very eyes can see and nose can smell that what this chocolate cake
they are serving us really is, should prepare us for the following
ludicrous claims we are going to be deluged with on Sunday, and
particularly on Monday.
1. These elections are de facto illegal, null and void. There are many
apparent reasons for this that range from the non-legitimacy of the
government responsible for their organization to the ballot-rigging
that is internationally expected more or less. However, all the regime
sympathizers will try to present them as legitimate. They will make
various statements regarding a legal and binding result regardless of
whether it comes from ‘a constitutional disorder’. ON THE MAIN THEY
WILL CLAIM THAT THEY ARE LEGAL BECAUSE THE PEOPLE HAS GONE TO THE
BALLOT AND THUS LEGITIMIZED THEM.
2. Regardless of the party that comes to power, the regime
sympathizers will claim that the People have by and large supported
them; that white votes represent silent support; that the null votes
also represent silent support; that voting for parties that did not
manage a 3% also represents support because it was not a vote for a
government party, and so a vote which did not wish the toppling of
this government but only to send a message. Vote for a party above the
3% in favor of the anti-Memorandum front will also claim supports them
because it will afford them negotiating leeway, but due to their low
percentages and parliament power, the People did not wish the toppling
of the present government and that therefore represents a wish for L.
Papademos to remain as the prime-minister. A vote for any
pro-memorandum party will also be served as proof of People’s support,
particularly if Samaras comes to power, at which point they will
simply claim that PASOK has paid its political cost but that its
politics has largely been approved (which will also make them appear
as heroic PASOK followers). A vote from the anti-memorandum bloc that
they will allow to appear in high percentages will still be claimed to
be a product of ballot-rigging and start claiming that the real
percentage is smaller and all this is due to the particular electoral
law because in reality the People have supported them. IN SHORT,
WHATEVER THE PEOPLE WILL VOTE FOR, THE REGIME CRONIES WILL FIND A WAY
TO CLAIM EVEN FOR A SHORT WHILE THAT IT APPROVES OF THEIR PRO-
MEMORANDUM LINE, THAT IS, RULE BY THE FOREIGNERS.
In other words, the mottos ‘we ate it all up together’ or ‘we are all
in this together’ will play up quite much because it is their only
card left to play with when they are called to answer for their
actions:, i.e., to claim that whatever they did, they did under the
mandate of the Greek People, regardless of whether they had ever
received or will ever receive such a mandate.
Their greatest stake is now how to convince us that the People
legitimize these elections. After that, and given the number of
parties running for power, their pre-election campaigns and the many
loopholes these leave for any smartly or stupidly executed political
cartwheel, they will find a way to do service to the foreign
colonialists and occupiers.
From PASOK – ND to the Golden Down and OXI, to entities like ANTARSYA
and the rest (let alone the KKE, Independent Greeks, LAOS and DESY,
etc) every pre-electoral campaign and platform has left windows and
secret doors ajar by a plethora of generalities that they can later
‘read’ at will and in such a manner so that the real status quo will
not be affected in the least, save only in name.
That is of course, if they deign to occupy themselves post-electorally
with such details rather than simply abandon their pre-electoral
platform and promises altogether to shift to a completely different
policy as GAP did back in 2009, since with L. Papademos’ refusal to
officially give a full account of his governmental actions so that all
running parties and future possible coalitions would have committed
themselves on the basis of that account, they are all given the alibi
to claim that they had no way of knowing of the real situation they
later came into and thus are (regrettably) unable to apply their
original party platform on the new discovered data.
This is unfortunate, because if this account had been given, the
toppling of any government would have been easy and tomorrow’s
elections could have offered a chance at a catharsis.
The only way that this can now be achieved is for a series of
referenda with a clear question, which will be organized and
controlled by People’s committees whose members will be randomly
assigned and who will have nothing to do with private corporations
(i.e., Singular Logic) to do the processing of the vote, nor with
state officials, party-led cronies, etc so that the People can decree
and convey their opinion separately, clearly and directly, without any
margin for dubious double meanings. These actions should follow a
complete account containing full information on all areas the People
will later be called to decide on.
Because, certain anonymous visitors asked for my own political stance
in relation to tomorrow’s elections, and who were unable to surmise it
from the plethora of my articles already published and pertinent
action already taken, I clearly state here that I will never condone
blackmail and opaque processes, and neither will I legitimize with my
own presence those processes which I have personally reported as
illegal and catachrestic. On the contrary, I will take action against
any unauthorized reading of my behavior as false and fraudulent and
will demand the reinstitution of complete legality before I accept to
participate in any process that are as we speak dissolving or
Democracy and have transformed themselves into a tool for the regime
for which such process is innocuous, since the coalitions of the
running parties and the particular concoction of the electoral law do
not threaten such a regime in the least.
Only in case a series of Referenda were proclaimed and insured of
their legitimacy and integrity as per the parameters already referred
to, as well as carried out by an elected government consisting of
randomly selected Citizens and complete information to and feedback
from every Citizen ensured, would I accept a proposal to participate
and of course I would have fully accepted and considered every popular
verdict binding and legitimate.
